What are you moving?

Pick the closest thing. The answer is almost always yes, and here is how we do it.

Yes, we move that.

A whole house

A full home move with a 2 or 3 person crew and a truck sized to the house. We wrap, load, drive and put everything in the right room.

How we look after your things

The difference between a removalist and a careful one is in the wrapping, the lifting and where things end up.

Wrapped

Moving blankets on the furniture, bubble wrap on glass and stone, shrink wrap over the lot. Nothing leaves the room bare.

Lifted

Every truck has a tail lift. Heavy pieces ride up on the platform, strapped and on a trolley, never dragged up a ramp.

Placed

Unwrapped at the other end and put where you want it, not left in the hall. The crew takes the packaging away with them.

Three of the crew. One marble slab. One tail lift.

A real job, not a stock photo. Crews are one, two or three people depending on the move, and every truck has a tail lift so the heavy pieces are lifted, never dragged.

No lift? It comes in over the balcony.

Plenty of Perth apartments have a lift that fits people and a stairwell that fits nothing else. When a sofa, a benchtop or a piano will not make the turn, we rig it, wrap it and bring it in by rope. Crane for the biggest pieces.

Perth to anywhere in WA. One fixed price.

A long-distance move should not come with a quote that grows on the road. We agree one number in Perth, the same crew loads and unloads, and you know what you are paying before the truck leaves.

  • Albany, Esperance, Geraldton and Bunbury are regular runs
  • Kalgoorlie, the Pilbara and the Kimberley on request
  • Whole homes, part loads and single items
  • Dates planned around settlement or lease

Small crew. Owner on the phone.

The big national movers have call centres and a different crew every time. The Furniture Man has Bruno's mobile number, the same crew on your job from the first room to the last, and a truck that turns up when it said it would.

  • You speak to the owner, and the owner turns up
  • Same-day and weekend bookings
  • One fixed price, agreed before we start
  • Quotes by WhatsApp from a couple of photos
  • One, two or three people, chosen for the job
  • The pieces most movers turn down

Questions people ask

Straight answers to the things people ask before they book.

How much does a removalist cost in Perth?

It depends on how much you are moving, how far it is going and how many people the job needs. Every quote is a fixed price with no hidden fees, so the number you are given is the number you pay. Send a few details on WhatsApp or through the quote form and we will come back to you quickly.

Can you move just one item?

Yes. Single items are a big part of what we do: a marble table, a piano, a sofa, a fridge, a bed, or something you have just bought from a store. One item or a whole house, the care is the same.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We work weekends and public holidays, and we can often do same-day moves when the schedule allows.

Do you move fragile, heavy or high-value pieces?

Yes, it is one of our specialities. Marble tables, wooden and stone benches, artwork and pianos are wrapped in moving blankets, shrink wrap and bubble wrap and handled by people who move them every week.

Can you deliver from IKEA, Harvey Norman or other stores?

Yes. We collect from any store or warehouse, including IKEA, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Amart, and we can do several pickups in one run. We can also assemble the furniture once it is in your home.

What if the building has no lift?

We do rope-access and crane-assisted deliveries for high-rise apartments and buildings without lift access. Large pieces come in through a balcony or window rather than being squeezed up a stairwell.

Do you do long-distance moves across WA?

Yes, at a fixed price. Albany, Esperance, Geraldton, Bunbury and anywhere else in Western Australia, from the south coast to the far north.

How do I get a quote?

The fastest way is WhatsApp: send your pickup and drop-off addresses, what you are moving and your preferred date. You can also call 0420 748 904 or use the quote form on this site.

Tell us what is moving. We will send a fixed price.

WhatsApp is quickest: a couple of photos, both addresses and your date. Or call, or use the quote form.
